It has been projected by the ONS that males and females born in 2023 will live longer on average than the present population.
Does the ONS know something about future NHS medical employment, waiting lists and treatments that we don't?
I would suggest that without a sufficient number of doctors, and direct medical access to them, that for a large number of older citizens death will come earlier rather than later. Have you tried getting a face-to-face consultation recently?
The difference between male and female lifespans, it says, will be reduced with males closing the gap. No mention was reported if switching to identify as a woman could increase life expectancy! Worth a try.
